I feel so honored to have been asked by Elizabeth from the Spinal Injury Association to be a part of their first charity calender.
I met Elizabeth at a WIBN meeting (woman in business networking), and she mentioned this idea she had for a charity calender with men and motorbikes to help raise awareness and funds for the SIA. I jumped at the chance to be apart of this.
I met Elizabeth back in February for a coffee and a chat and it was then confirmed that this would be a calender girls type of calender!!!
A first for me I can tell you! I contacted the talented Vivien Jones of Pretty Woman Makeup to see if she would like to come on board. Thankfully she said YES!

The big day was last Thursday on a farm in Nothampton. The weather was thankfully pretty good for us and there was only one time at the end of the day that we had to wait to take our last shot.

Elizabeth was armed with props, a huge urn and lots of sandwiches and biscuits to keep us fed and watered through out the day.

Vivien did an amazing job preening our 16 men.

Obviously due to the nature of this calender I will not be uploading images from the day. There were no full nudity shots! But all the same I would like to keep the photos under wraps until the launch!!
My hat goes off to these amazing men who were aged 60 plus in general!

The calender launches on July 23rd at a motorbike fair of which i will give details off nearer the time. I will be there promoting the calender with a mock set up inviting anybody (clothed) to pop along and have a photo taken with their bike!

And if you are wondering where the connection is between bikes and the SIA. 80% of spinal injuries are caused by motorbike accidents!
